Tanner owns and skippers an 90 ft. tender F/V Deco Bay, with his father Mark Mackiewicz along with the tender F/V Steelhead. He and his crew travel North to Alaska in early spring to tender herring and then salmon in various parts of Alaska, from remote Togiak Bay, to Bristol Bay and Southeast Alaska.
