Dockside Market & Marine Life Center

This week, Susan Lindsay and Kevin Coleman head to Dockside Market and the Marine Life Center here in Bellingham to check out how we can connect to our waterfronts through food and experience!

Dockside Market happens every 1st and 3rd Saturday down in Squalicum Harbor year-round. Bring home fresh fish from your local fishermen and women, as well as other vendors with seafood products. Support your local economy and heart-healthy proteins with fresh fish, crab and other seafood specialties! Hear from local fisherman Ficus Chan on how he prepares his favorite dishes, Terry Phair from Lummi Nation, Mark Seymour from Drayton Harbor Oyster, Harley from Jean C Fisheries, as well as others in this highlight of our favorite fish market.

The Marine Life Center is located by the Port's Roeder offices, and offers up-close experiences with our marine life here in the Salish Sea. Paul visits and reports with Jenny & Casey from the Marine Life Center on what the center has to offer! Hear about the creatures, the experiences, the fun, and how it all helps us connect to our waterfront.
