Lange Solberg - entrepreneur, writer, and fisherman, holds a master's degree from the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs at the University of Washington. His research focused on using a statistical model to determine whether a 2004 regulation change in the Bristol Bay sockeye salmon fishery significantly impacted limited entry salmon permit values in subsequent years. In June 2019 Lange wrapped up two consecutive terms as a director and the treasurer of the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association. He owns and skippers a commercial salmon vessel, F/V Iceberg Point, in Bristol Bay, Alaska and manages a North America business development for Real Time Data's Deckhand electronic logbook platform. Founded in Adelaide, Australia, Real Time Data has developed groundbreaking logbook software and data management tools to empower fishermen worldwide in the collection of their own high-resolution data.
