The Community Health Intern will help the CBC achieve its mission of building brighter futures using the therapeutic lessons of the sea. This position was established in 2022 and has since helped us to increase our Community Enrichment programs by almost 1000%! We’ve hosted free or low cost programs for just over 1000 people in partnership with 15 different local organizations serving a wide range of demographics. Including BIPOC, tribal youth, migrant/Latinx, LGBTQ+, folks experiencing houselessness, and people with cognitive, emotional and physical disabilities.
